VAT, URSSAF, CFE: the file is ready before the date
VAT, URSSAF, CFE: the documents are gathered and checked well before the date, and you're warned while there's still time. You review, you approve.
VAT file for 19 October, opened a fortnight ahead
Half an hour of review. Nothing is signed without you.
The file is ready
before the date comes round.
You recognise at least one of these lines
Surcharges: Article 1728 of the French General Tax Code, BOFiP BOI-CF-INF-10-20-10. Late-payment interest: Article 1727, since 16 February 2025. The 3 hours: Paperwork automated page.
- You hunt for your purchase invoices the day before the return
- You call your accountant in a panic to find out what's missing
- You've already paid a surcharge for a document sent too late
- You couldn't say, today, whether this month's VAT is ready
- You discover the CFE the day it falls due
You decide, step by step, what you hand over
Here's what becomes of the month's deadline, VAT on the 19th for example. At each step, say whether you keep doing it or Atlas® takes it on: the counters recalculate before your eyes. Connection happens once: half a day, in read-only mode, nothing to install.
The deadline's file opens by itself
A fortnight before the date, a dated file opens for the 19th. The dates for your tax scheme are watched for you, CFE included.
The documents file themselves in it
Sales and purchase invoices, photographed receipts, till journal, the month's payroll: gathered and filed day by day, never interpreted.
What's missing is requested in time
The number of documents expected against those received, duplicates, missing details. What's missing is requested as you go, not the evening before.
The file goes to your accountant
Dated, complete, in the format and at the pace they ask for. The history keeps track of what went out, and when.
You review, you approve, they file
Half an hour of review per deadline, and nothing is signed without you: the return stays between your accountant and you. That's the module's red line.
Whatever your volume
Book an assessmentFrom €300 excl. VAT set-up fee, one time only
Indicative estimate, not a firm price: the exact rate is agreed with you at the assessment.
Does this module speak to you? See what it does with your figures.
The last fortnight before the date
The same VAT return of the 19th, with and without the module. What you owe doesn't change.
- A fortnight before, on the 4th of the month
The file for the 19th opens by itself
Sales, purchases, till, payroll: each document files itself in it day by day.
Today: nothing happens. The receipts are in the glove box, the purchase invoices at the bottom of the mailbox, and you don't think about it.
- The day before, the 18th at 6 pm
A message: the file is complete
Two receipts were missing, requested on the 6th, arrived on the 7th. You review, you approve.
Today: you dig through the mailbox, call two suppliers back, send the accountant what you have to hand. The rest will go through next month.
- On the day, the 19th
Your accountant has had the file since the 12th
They file, you pay, and the history keeps track of what went out and when.
Today: your accountant files with what they received the day before. The forgotten input VAT is lost for this month, and you'll never know.
The penalty doesn't wait for an inspection. Late return: 10% surcharge without formal notice, 0.20% interest a month. Articles 1728 and 1727, French General Tax Code.
Your tax scheme decides your dates. VAT exemption scheme: no VAT under 85,000 euros of sales or 37,500 of services, tolerance up to 93,500 and 41,250, summer 2026 thresholds. Simplified scheme: one return in early May, two instalments in July and December, up to 945,000 euros of sales or 286,000 of services, scheme abolished on 1 January 2027. Exemption: impots.gouv.fr, BOFiP BOI-TVA-DECLA-40-10-10, 1 July 2026. The single 25,000-euro threshold was dropped, 2026 budget.
Your 2026 deadlines, month by month
Two dates every month, and three appointments that only come round once a year.
The file for each one opens a fortnight ahead. Sales, purchases, till, payroll: each document files itself in it day by day.
Tax return in May, CFE instalment in June, CFE on 15 December. The ones you discover the day they fall due.
The rhythm doesn't change: the day before, a message tells you the file is complete, and what was missing.
It prepares, it doesn't file
What it will never do
- Sign a return on your behalf
- File online on impots.gouv.fr or net-entreprises
- Calculate your VAT or your profit, that isn't our job
- Replace your accountant, they remain the only one who files
What it does, and it's written in the contract
- Gather the documents for each deadline, a fortnight ahead
- Tell you what's missing, and request it on your behalf
- Send a complete file in the format your accountant expects
- Keep the history of what went out, and when
Preparing isn't filing. The return commits you and your accountant. We give them complete documents on time: they work faster.
What you get back, every month
Based on - deadlines and - of 4 steps handed over, that is - each.
