The quote goes out before you've left the premises
Your line items are written, your prices saved. You tick, you proofread, you send: two minutes from your phone. You see what's pending, in number and in value.
Hello, since this morning water has been leaking at the base of the shower and getting into the downstairs neighbour's flat. The seal is all black and two tiles are loose, I'm attaching photos. Can you come today?
Reduced VAT rate of 10%: work in a home more than two years old. Payment on receipt of invoice.
Two minutes on your phone,

a week of admin for a small business owner

Syndicat des indépendants (SDI), admin time of small business owners.
You type up your quotes in the evening, or on Sunday, using the last job as a template. You dig through old quotes for the price you charged last time. You've already lost a job because the quote went out too late. You can't say, right now, how many quotes are waiting for an answer. And you've never chased a quote, because you don't dare or because you forget.
You decide, step by step, what you hand over
Here's what becomes of a quote request. At each step, say whether you keep doing it or Atlas® takes it on: the counters recalculate before your eyes.
The line items are prepared from your library
Your wording and your prices, drawn from your last ten quotes. You tick what applies, nothing to retype.
The forgotten line is suggested
The line you put on every job of the same type is suggested by itself: it's up to you to say yes or no.
The quote takes shape
Your letterhead, your terms, the total, the tax and the compulsory wording, all placed by themselves.
You proofread and send
Nothing goes out without your proofreading, and that's the module's red line. This step can't be handed over, at any setting.
The quote is tracked
Sent, opened, signed: each quote carries its status, and the age of the oldest is displayed.
Reminders go out at the right time
At three days, one week, a fortnight. Never to a customer you've marked as not to be chased.

Three days, and you never once opened the computer
- Tuesday 4.40 pm
You're still on site
The inspection is done. You tick five lines in your library, on your phone, on site, before leaving. The prices are already yours.
- Tuesday 4.52 pm
The quote has gone out
In your name, with your letterhead, your terms and the compulsory wording. You didn't reopen the computer and you didn't retype anything.
- Tuesday 9.15 pm
She opens it at home
You see it on your dashboard: read. If the silence lasts, the three-day reminder is already written and already scheduled.
- Thursday 9.04 am
She signs with her finger
From her phone, time-stamped. The quote leaves the pending pile by itself, the line switches to Signed, and the invoice picks up the same line items.
Installation takes half a day : we go through your last ten quotes to extract your library and your prices, you have nothing to enter.
The quotes lying dormant, counted once and for all. Seven quotes pending, 14,200 euros of turnover that doesn't exist yet, 26 days for the oldest, never chased once. And 3 out of 4 of the quotes signed this month were signed after a polite reminder: that's the move most often missing. Illustrative example, consistent with the Dashboards page of The method. No traceable French study on quotes never chased: the figures doing the rounds have nothing behind them.
The limits, stated up front
What it will never do
- Send a quote you haven't proofread and approved
- Invent a price that isn't already in your library
- Price up on your behalf anything that needs a visit or an inspection
- Chase a customer you've marked as not to be chased
What's written in the contract
- Your line items and prices belong to you, exportable in full
- The compulsory wording on the quote is in place and kept up to date
- The signature is time-stamped and kept, with its proof of sending
- You switch off whenever you like and leave with your quotes
A signed quote is a contract: an electronic signature is as valid as a handwritten one, Article 1367 of the French Civil Code and eIDAS Regulation No. 910/2014.
Your data stays yours, Article 28 of the European regulation.
What you get back, every month
